Last Breath

One last breath and it's the end.

One last breath and I won't see you again.

One last breath my dear, I'm nearing my end.

You tell me not to leave, but I have no choice. I cannot do anything anymore. I look at you. You look at me. You say "I love you", "I love you too". "Please don't go", but I have to now. I'm sorry my dear, for leaving so soon. I'm sorry my dear as I take one last look at the moon tears streaming down your face now, I do ...

LOVE IS

What is love, Love can't see you but you can't see it

Love is a sneaky thing I guess sort of slick

Love can hurt and Love can heal

Love can be born and Love can kill

Love has won and Love has lost

Love can catch and Love can toss

Love can stand and Love can fall

Love is small and Love is tall

Love is right and Love is wrong

Love is weak but Love is strong

Love is up and Love is down

Love can smile and Love can frown

The Day will come when we must bid farewell to one another,

And although that day has not yet arrived,

I can, even now feel the pain and sorrow.

I wonder, can you feel it or even see it too?

Do you think these years of happiness was all it was meant to be?

Or is there more to be seen or discovered?

Look at it for one fleeting moment and ask yourself

Are you ready to give this up?

I think about it for a split second and realize,

The girl who put up with me everyday,

How could you have hurt me so, after the things we shared?

My desire motivated me to do the things I could for you.

Things I couldn't imagine myself doing for anyone else.

It deludes my mind, overwhelms my heart.

Your lies constantly enticing me to believe that I want you,

and you the same.

Desire affects me, afflicts me, drives me to distraction.

I am at its mercy when it comes to you.

These things my heart speaks to you in vain, for never have I met anyone

Love's Pleasure And Pain

by Iccoldhart

I'm trying to figure out

what love is supposed to be about

In the beginning you're always so nice

But in the end, you're as cold as Ice

In the end, when you look in their eye's

That's when you realize all their lies

In the beginning you would never think

That they could be so mean in a simple blink

I told you once

I told you twice

that when you love you pay the price

You feel so empty

Cold and blue

So stressed out

There's a rainbow in my ceiling,

But you're not here to see it,

There's a song, our song, playing on my tape,

But you're not here to hear it.

There's a scar in my heart,

The size of the moon,

But you're not here to heal it,

There's a rapture in my stomach,

And it's calling your name,

But you're not here to fill it.

There's a smell in my room, of bodies in heat,

But you're not here to share it,

There's a hope in my life, that will not die,

And you're no longer here ...

by Duke Nguyen

I'm sorry for everything you've been through

It must've been very hard on you

I'm sorry for all that's been said and done

I was the moon, you were the sun

I'm sorry for not making everything right

But the situation I was in, was very tight

I'm sorry for not lending you a hand

If only I could be a better friend

I'm sorry if it seemed like I didn't care

Lucky for you, your special- someone was there

I'm sorry for breaking your heart

My Love My Life

Always isn't always, forever isn't forever

Will tears fall with every thought of you?

Don't dwell

Words spoken do not necessarily last

Will I hear your voice every waking moment?

Don't think

Forever's as far as you said you would go

Feelings return like a giant wave

Will I continue to feel I'm drowning without you?

Don't question

Two who tried

One unable to continue, one unable to stop

Will I ever stop needing to know why?

We were so close when we were together.

I thought of you as my best friend

it seems as if we've lost our trust,

our trust in each other and our love.

You say you want to be good friends,

but how can you think that I would hurt you

I wouldn't and couldn't ever hurt you

I can't be mad at you because it hurts to much

I need you to be there

I need you as my friend

Here & Now

Will you allow me back into your life?

Will you hold me like the old times,

Here & Now

Will you take me by your side?

Will you never let me go,

Here & Now

Will you make sure I'm with you every single day?

Will you promise me for all time,

I take yet another step away

close yet another door

the coldness of my shoulder - and yours

is yet becoming more.

There are no longer kind words

there is no open addressing

the art that we once knew

no longer needs confessing

We used to face each other

on the bridge inside the wall

now it's desolate and empty

it's begun to crack and fall

There is a constant dripping

yet tears go unshed

a puddle gathers at my feet

Don't you see if you leave her reaching for you at arms length,

your relationship can and will never be the same?

A wild rose is your love,

beautiful yet piercing -

longing to be tame.

For this are you willing to surrender your precious fame?

romance and poetry.

What is?

The name I despise.

To say it would mean that once again, I wonder -

Wonder why, where, and whom he's with.

Not me.

It's so easy to wonder, but hard to let go.

Innocent he was;

Pure, Clean.

When whispering sweet nothings in your ear,

you seem to drift away to the place only lovers know.

I miss the voice;

My name and the way it was said -

The laughter,

Joys of intimacy,

Enduring moments of togetherness,

Finished love -

Fading forever -

Gone.

Walking through our favorite path,

so cold and misty, skies were gray;

wishing you were here holding me tight,

hoping to see you in sight.

Autumn leaves fall while I wait for you to call,

wanting you back with me for eternity.

As I came to our favorite bridge,

there you stood with a stare;

same time, same place,

for the last time we embraced.

The last kiss from you with tear drops,

the last touch as you wipe it away,

the last time alone with you.

Saying good-bye ...

When the wind blows
And whispers through the trees,
You'll know I remember you.

When the rain falls
And drips from the flower petals,
You'll know I have forgiven you.

When a tear escapes
And trickles down my cheek,
You'll know I still love you.

When we're apart

I feel empty and lost

Like a part of me is missing

Like a strong gust has blown you away

As if a chisel chipped you out

I want to be where you are

As close as I can be to you

Holding your hand as I once did

Running along in the summer

I wish we were still together

"Together forever" you used to say

But it has all changed

No more "I love you's"

Or "Call me later's"

No more "Come on over's"

Or "Let's ...

Two Problems

I have two problems,
Only two;
One is depression, the other is you.
Or maybe my problem equals one;
But one or two, it weighs a ton.

So all in all, it's pretty bad;
All in all, it's kind of sad
To choose a road that I must take,
To make a decision, that has no faint.

I think I'll stay, and live miserably;
I think I'll pay, and keep living.
